I guess you re studying from Kekai kotaki but I suggest you to not copy his entire style.Applying his painting style is fine but copying his color palette,character syle,compostion style,values . etc you cant go far from being his bad imitation. Dont get me wrong Im not judgin you here , I think you re great artist with realy great potential , just dont waste it. take care
i did pick up on that so yea i get what you're saying and i have been trying to get my own thing going as of late but it is hard to kick old habits y'know im kinda used to painting like this, even without reference but yea, i am trying my best to make this painting thing my own
For some reason this whole entire scene reminds me of some of the concept art for Guild Wars 2, especially the guys in the background behind Mr. Flaming Sword. This is a very cool looking piece, I love the style, very well done
He didn't get the powerup for the other one to flame it up. I think the bit of chain that's in the foreground is not really necessairy.It just makes a busy image busier.And you do need some resting spaces.
