this took quite a while, mainly because i started with greenery and forest in mind, and halfway through changed it to snow, kinda annoying redrawing the whole thing but turned out ok in the end...

done on photoshop cs5 and dragged on for close to 3 hours due to the major change in color...

pointers and advise will be appreciated

Ahh excellent picture. Having looked at other pictures of yours I'd say you have knack at creating strange, dramatic and sometimes "sick" atmosphere in them.

I think it turned out more than just ok. I think the whole point is to capture the "feel" of the scene and you've done a great job. I've had to start over from scratch a couple of times myself. I find the second try usually turns out well. The only I would suggest would be a hint at some kind of entrance that would at least suggest the prescence of the hideout. Otherwise this is excellent work.
